Spook month is here already and we're slowly preparing for the big Howl-o-een!

On Friday Oct 13th I was pulled over and arrested for driving impaired.. Impaired because the officer smelt marijuana on me (I'm a pot smoker, I always stink like weed!) Soo, I do their sobriety test (which I personally thought I had passed) but supposedly I didn't. My car got impounded, license suspended for 90 days, and a charge of driving while impaired. I get it, weed is a drug, I shouldn't smoke it.. but because it's not a 'hard' drug and almost legalised here, I don't think I should've been charged!! Sure impound my car for a week, take my license for 3mths but to arrest me and send me to court for the next year is just a plain inconvenience!! (in my opinion) *sigh* That was my Friday the 13th for the year. It never fails.. Some people get lucky that day, I don't. I'm not superstitious but maybe I should be...

There are many superstitions like bad luck on Friday the 13th, a black cat crossing your path or if you see an owl during the day apparently some one you know is going to die. I don't believe in theses. I think it's mostly coincidence when the bad luck follows one of these events. I could be wrong though. Happy Halloween everyone.

I don't have any superstitions about Friday the 13th.It's just like any other day to me, but many of our friends won't leave their house on that date, some even call in sick to work ! You can't let fears rule your life that much.!

I believe in certain things that may be considered superstitious but not necessarily Friday the 13th. I always look forward to Fridays that may fall on the 13th however just because there are so many classics on TV. Tons of horror movies/shows!! Woohoo, who doesn't love a good Friday the 13th marathon right??

We usually get around 200 trick and treaters. This year we are going to place a couple of holograms with speakers...one is of a ghost in a window with sound effects and the other is lightening bolt strikes on the other side of the house....oh..then we have a door knocker that makes an awful spooky noise...should be fun!!!!

I don't have any thoughts about Friday the 13th, I don't believe in any superstition about it. However, this October 13th is the 100th anniversary of the appearance of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal! It's a day of celebration!
