Well, I have redeemed for Cineplex, Esso, Starbucks and Amazon. After I make my order it shows up as processing in "My Rewards" and then after it is processed you are allowed to open up the link and retrieve your e-card. I print off that e-card onto a sheet of paper from my printer. Then I have gone to the retail establishment and used it as a form of payment for my purchases, just like you would if it were cash. In the case of the e-card at Esso, I have gone to the cashier, gave her the $15.00 e-gift card and she loaded up the pump with this amount and then I filled my gas tank in my car with this amount. In the case of the Cineplex card, I went up to the cashier, and gave her the e-card. I stated which movie I wanted to see and since the e-card was worth $10.00 and the movie cost $12.50, I was deducted $10.00 and only had to pay $2.50 out-of-pocket in order to get my ticket to see the show. In the case of Starbucks, I received an e-card for $10.00 and took the printed sheet with me. They scanned the bar code and deducted $1.90 for the coffee and then the card had a remaining balance of $8.90 on the e-card until the next time. You hang onto the card until you use up all the entire balance. I bought more coffees and eventually used up all my balance on my card. With the Amazon e-card, (which is something that I just ordered and waiting for) I think I will be able to open the link in my "My Rewards" account and copy and paste the Amazon Code into my Amazon account and then I can go shopping with that $10.00 e-card that I am waiting for. Hope this helps in my explaining how I have been enjoying and experiencing using my e-card rewards. :)

Once you select your gift card, once it has been processed, go to "My Rewards" on your Toluna page and you will have a code to redeem the online gift card. The gift cards are for online redemptions only. If you select PayPal, you will be able to deposit the monies to your PayPal account.
Make sure that the gift card you order is one that you have an account with the online retailer.
Hope this helps
