W.O.C. – No Technology

Hello Influencers,

A world without technology would be a lot less
Innovative and advanced. Thanks to technology so many new opportunities and jobs have reached individuals that it never would have had it not been for these inventions. Of course with technology there has been cons; cyber bullying, formation of hate groups etc.. but that does not take away from the day to day progress that has been made. Life would be a lot harder overall if it weren’t for technology.

I feel like the world would be a much simpler yet happy place. People would actually speak face to face rather than sit in front of a screen to do so. In turn, people would feel closer to one another. More-so, with no cars it’s safe to say that our environment would be a whole lot better off.

W.O.C. – No Technology
a world without technology, having grown up with television, video game consoles, radio am fm, the video recorder, the dvd player, the blue ray player .... to find me without any more of that overnight I would be shocked at the beginning but little by little I would find the taste of reading that I gave up a little for the benefit of the movies and I would find other activity to occupy my days without all his gadjets that are part of my life since long time

I'm sure we'd still be doing okay, everything may still be slightly bigger and slower and a lot of other development might not have happened with every thing you can think of but humankind has always plotted along at a steady coarse even without the alien tech that way handed to us to advance as it were?

Ironically I am replying t this survey via computer, the best piece of technology ever invented. But if this, and all technology as we know it today didn’t happen?? Hmm..
1. Most people would be fantastic gardeners and farmers. We would be growing our own veggies and making our own natural (organic) foods and lotions.
2. I think I would also be a great seamstress and/or Carpenter of some sort.
Without technology we wouldn’t have factories which provides us with all these- we wouldn’t have the vehicles to transport these at the speed we have now or to the distance. Without technology we would also lose touch with our families and communities so people would tend to stay put and make a living with what is offered to them - wherever they are so they could be with their family.
Today’s age we travel to where the work is and family comes second .
If Technology was no longer around, as good as it is and how easy it makes our lives, I think we would all be closer to each other and appreciate what Earth has provided us .

This is an interesting question for me. I was born in the fifties and grew up in the sixties and seventies. I remember getting our first TV and how amazing it was to be able to watch this gizmo. I remember getting my first transistor radio and being able to listen to music without having to plug in. But the most important things in my life was being face to face with my friends When I used the telephone, I loved to hear a voice at the other end. I am and have always been a people person. I like to feel and touch a human being. Technology is an incredible ride especially for millions and millions of younger inhabitants of this planet. But this all comes with a heavy price tag in many ways. Computers can solve problems. Computers can find virtually anything you are looking for. They give a great many shortcuts In all aspects of life. They certainly can make our lives more expedient and less time consuming. But, at what cost? I fell technology is dehumanizing. I wonder when we will rely solely on robots. Give me the good old days in a heart beat.

It's hard to imagine life today without technology!! We've all become so dependent on it! I imagine though, that my life would be a lot simpler. I wouldn't feel overwhelmed with the choice that technology brings with it. But I would also feel less intelligent, because I wouldn't have information readily available at my fingertips. I'd have to rely on word of mouth or written documents to teach me things. But, you don't know what you're missing when you don't have it in your life, so I think I would be happy in my bliss! I would enjoy my surroundings more -- take more walks, talk with people more. I imagine that without technology, my life would feel more RELAXED. I wouldn't be straining my eyesight with screens, or checking social media every hour. I'd enjoy the world around me and have far more relaxing, zen moments.

so I sat down and thought about this lovely concept and it's all know how ignorant and greedy and lazy and reliance I have to come on something that is outside of myself. You know we're spoiled spoiled silver spoon.
Going out before the technology for my age of 43. I used to go outside to play pick up the phone that was attached to a cord my goodness gracious, the remote control even had a wire cord on it
Growing up without technology healthier and a physical plane
