Home Alone is a classic series, but the first, like most other series, is the best by far. Great Christmas movie no doubt, but thrilling to still watch with my kids anytime of the year. Funny, great actors/actress' , and all around one of a kind in its time. Many have imitated but never duplicated, I give that to Macauley!

Home alone is a great movie. I watch home alone around Christmas every year since I was 7 years old with my family. When I have kids I plan to keep it up. I love to watch it and he also shows you that even sometimes when you are mad at someone and you wish they would just be gone, it shows you that once they are gone you may miss them more then you think. It can show kids what can happening if they are alone, that can also see you may be mad at mommy or daddy right now but if we where gone you would miss us a lot more then you think. I love that we come together as a family to watch it every year and we also watch #2,3,4 and 5. But we think nothing is better then Home alone the first one. I love everything about the movie. It also shows you that even if everyone thinks someone is a bad person they can turn out to be very nice and kind. You cant tell just by looking at someone, you have to say hi and try to talk to people. I will keep this up for many years to come and will pass it onto my own family when I have my own kids, but right now I will enjoy it every year with my family coming together.

Home Alone has become a Christmas classic. I have watched it every year since it was debut in the theatres and it still brings a smile to my face and makes me laugh out loud. It never gets old or boring. It is such a good versus bad feel good movie. You can't help but be endeared by the main character Kevin. He is mischievous yet very brave and resourceful. The two criminals are pure evil but very funny. It is full of Christmas traditions and brings the holiday right into your home. It can bring a laugh to your belly and a tear to your eye. It stirs up many emotions. The ending warms your heart and it shows how good can win out in the end. The sequels continue the story and each one is as good as the last. The original Home Alone movie keeps you wanting more adventures with Keven McAllister. I would definitely recommend adding this movie to your Christmas library of yearly viewing .

Home Alone had been part of our Christmas movie playlist for close to 12 years now. It is a fun movie to watch with the kids and joke around about the fantasy of accidentally leaving the whiney grumpy kids and going on vacation. (Before I get to many negative replys I love my kids and would never do such a thing). The movie shows several stages of emotions and it is done in a manner where you can sympathize with the boy (Kevin) and the parents even the smallest deed from a stranger that has a huge impact on people's personal life. The perspective that we get from it is that you only get one family and that comes with arguing fighting being told no and sometimes wishing you could be left alone. And like the movie those feelings start to pass as soon as they arrived and you wish that no matter how bad you feel or how you think your treated the chaos that comes with family is what makes needing them more then without it. So for us we put this Christmas movie on our list Everytime to remind us that life is so much greater being together then getting what we want in that minute it takes to get mad.

I have watched this movie many times. It is the best of the bunch. I watch it every year. I love the movie. The plot is awesome and to have a child be able to out smart some would be adult criminals, smartest thing to happen.
