Do you think it is fair certain airlines allow cats and dogs onto planes, but not fish?

A passenger flying Southwest Airlines was denied when trying to bring her pet fish on board. Southwest allows cats and dogs but no fish, even though the TSA states fish are allowed on flights as long as they are in a transparent container and have been inspected.

Do you think fish should be considered in the same category as cats and dogs? Why?

Well cats and dogs aren’t allowed in the cabins with the passengers, they’re in the hold with the rest of the special items, where it’s cold. Due to allergies and such if that passenger was to be allowed, his/her pet it will have to be with the rest of the specials... water freezes up in the air at 34000 ft. And even if STA does allow it, it’s always at the discretion of the airlines. Hence no fish on board. Reply

That's discrimination again pets! >_<
Plus, wouldn't it be easier to transport a closed container with fish then live animals in cages? ...that's a debate not worth fighting, I think! (Pick Your Battles I say)
