3rd stop of the Road Trip: New Jersey!
Closed

New Jersey, the state that allows you to be close to New York but also away from the constant traffic. If you enjoy skylines, the Hoboken skyline is not to be missed nor is the famous Carlo's Bakery from the Food Network show Cake Boss! You can visit Thomas Edison's home, you can relax in Asbury Park Boardwalk or have a combination of city and beach at Atlantic City. You decide, would you like to be close to the city skylines or be near a beach? The best responses will get 500 points for answering!

It's funny because of recent reality shows, I figured NJ was a little...trashy? But it's actually gorgeous with beaches and historic, opulent properties, reminiscent of "The Great Gatsby" and even fun boardwalks, looks like something for everyone!

I would be like to be close to the beach as it is more relaxing than the hustle and bustle of the big city and has more greenery and fresh air. Being close to Carlos Bake shop is another good reason too.

I would love to be near a beach. I find the sound of the waves to be calming and relaxing. I was in New Jersey in the mid-70's on a road trip with my parents to Boston, Philadelphia and Washington DC. My Dad was born in Trenton, so we were able to visit some relatives as well.

Sounds like a good place to visit. I have driven through parts of it on my way from Quebec to Delaware
