TV commercials, is there a single commercial you saw in 2019 that effected your life?

I can answer yes to this one.

I bought a product for more than two decades or so and recently saw a commercial that made me wonder if that newer product was better than the one I had been buying. It was!

I switched and I will never go back after using a product for more than twenty years, it is good to try new things.

The commercial that got my attention lately was the Chevy truck with the 110 plug in. Wonderful idea. Reply

I try not to pay attention to commercials but some of them sneak their way into the subconscious despite my best intentions.
I can't recall any commercials that actually got me to buy their product over another despite how brilliant they might have been.
I love the slogan that "no one does this better than us" (regardless of who "no one" or "us" was or what "this" is supposed to do).
Using logic to decipher their claim, if everyone was exactly the same, they would be correct in saying no one does it better.
Because they are not claiming to do it better than anyone else, the competition cannot complain either.
They simply package their product and commercial in a manner that makes the consumer recognize their product and think it is better (or more well known which must be the same).
Commercials are intended to deceive the consumers using false logic and, for some reason, our governments feel manufacturers should be allowed to deceive the general public with impunity.
Perhaps we need more truth in advertising laws?
