On This 50th Anniversary of the
Moon Landing it should be noted
that they might not have made it
there if not for the Canadians.

A select group of those brilliant
engineers went to work for the
U.S. space program, where they
helped form the core of the brilliant
team that took America to the moon.
Know the story of how Canadian
engineers from Avro went to work
for NASA after the Arrow program
was cancelled, and helped put a
man on the moon.

Future generations will look back at humans from the 70s to at least now and consider us living in the Modern Dark Ages.
Just think about it (if we start from 'year 0):
- It took us 1903 years to fly
- It tool us 44 years to fly faster than sound
- It took 14 years to put a man in orbit
- It took 18 years to put a man on the moon
And in the last half century, we have gone all of 400 km (to the International Space Station).
But we have invented 'smart' phones, FaceBook, other (un)social media, Amazon and eBay, and a host of other, from a historical and human perspective, less than useful products.
