Elections are coming up in October ...

The elections will be before us very soon and I'm having a hard time making a a choice this time around. I like many we know are so tired of false promises the political parties dish out to us. I know that this is nothing new ,it happens every election period . I wish that they would stop slandering each other and just stick to honest facts.
I was brought up having it instilled in us that we had to vote,no matter what ! My parents made us read the news papers, watch the news and the debates also to look into the past voting records of the candidates . Then to make up our own minds on who to vote for. I still go through most of the same process today ,but I don't feel we can trust any one in politics and what they say any more.

Is it me or do you also find it hard to trust what political candidates have to tell us?

Yes I agree but often when they get in power they realize there isn’t as much money available as thought or other factors beyond their control happen Reply

Be very careful what you wish for in this election. Andrew Sheer [give your head a big shake], Jagmeet Singh [do you even know who he is?], Maxime Bernier [even scarier than Doug Ford, Sheer, and the worst prime minister ever -- Stevie Harper], Elizabeth May [nice but no chance], Trudeau [flawed, but so are we all. Is he not the best of this bad lot?] Reply

Vote, but we do not want Trudeau in for another season, he is making our country bankrupt, with giving away all that money that should be for our own Seniors, Vets, etc. He keeps spending, there will be no money for the upcoming seniors in the near future. Reply

I always vote! Every Federal, Provincial and Municipal Election. Sometimes I get a job working for Elections. You could live in a brainwashed place like North Korea!
VOTE GREEN! Elizabeth May for Prime Minister!

People don't actually read the platforms and policies of the parties running; instead, they listen to sensationalized stories in the media and vote with their emotions.
People also want to vote for a winner, rather than shared values; there are 30 or so parties to vote for in Ontario, but only 4 are marketed to us because they already have seats. Why vote for a party that has no seats and therefore no hope in hell of winning? Because not one of the top 4 has any integrity, not one is good for Canada at the moment, and because when you vote with authenticity, consciousness and truth, you have an enormous amount of power... and you will feel good about your vote whether or not you "win".

Let's look at the reasons for NOT voting Liberal:
- SNC-Lavalin and political interference in a judicial issue
- Mark Norman and political interference in a miltary issue
- Aga Khan and proven ethics violations
- Budgets that most certainly DID NOT 'balance themselves'
- Elbowgate
- The India embarrassment
- Payoffs to known murderers and terrorists
- Acting AGAINST the best interests of Canadians
- Open borders
I could go on, but any intelligent Canadian can see why they should vote for whichever party can displace the Liberal incumbent or ensure that a non-Liberal wins in their riding.
