Could you read time from Sundial?
Closed

These day we can check the time on many different ways but all of them are technology related. Lets say all those options are gone, no power, no batteries?
Would you know how to check the time?

Time used to be determined using the position of celestial objects.

The Sun was due south at midday, and the shadow of a sundial pointed due north.

Do you know how to use the sundials?

I remember we used to make them as a kid. All you need to know is approx compass bearings and you may only be a little late for tea. !!
