Well, at least Aldi has a sense of humour!

Saw this yesterday and found it amusing, Aldi posted a new design for the Caterpillar cake package, they are trying to take advantage of the situation, for those who don't know M&S sued them for copying their caterpillar cake.

what do you think of the new package? I think it is clever.

While the bars match the # thingy, I don't think it is a plus for the average kid who might want to eat one. Reply

I can understand that M&S want to protect their popular products against blatant copying, but it's a case of the pot calling the kettle 'black', as they have been quite happy to damage small businesses by copying their expensive clothes and selling them to the mass market at a greatly reduced price. I think M&S will win the IP infringement case as it's obviously an almost identical copy, but Aldi will get free publicity and no doubt launch a 'new' version.Although it may open the floodgates to more legal action for their other ripoff products. Reply
