Noodles
Closed

There was a time i hated noodles but i have realised it was because of the nasties in artificial sauces and flavours and not the noodles themselves. Since my filling fell out i am choosing softer foods and noodles are one of the snacky things and mealtime things i am eating. I dont care if they are flavoured or not as long as it is fairly natural however i will buy bog standard 22 p noodles and splash sweet chilli sauce on them myself.
This week i am upgrading tom fresh ginger and garlic noodles from Morrisons which will be great with mushrooms and remains of today's chicken. My husband says he hates noodles but he eats them in a very diverse stir fry. It is me who dislikes savoury rices and pasta but likewise i will tolerate tehm in a mixture.
I have heard of crispy noodles too but no idea how you get them crispy..same problem with bacon lol. Perhaps you need a deep fryer which i dont yet have? Perhaps that is my next voucher project.
At bedtime i often get the munchies and trying to avoid bloating out with bread and butter so noodles it is and a little sweet chilli.
Do you cook or buy noodles ?

The Hong Kong branch in the UK ensure that I have a great variety of noodles so I do not cook them myself.

for me it depends on what noodles it is and I am the same as you some put me off and I don't like them covered in artificial sauces which just lace them with sugar and salt. far better to make them with ginger and garlic..lovely combo.

It's not something that I enjoy. I'll only eat them if I'm served them & never by choice.
