Do you have kids in this age grouo

Do you agree they should get vaccinated.
With September around the corner, some doctors are urging parents of children aged 12 to 17 to get vaccinated in time to build full immunity before school starts again.

I do think we need more research on the safety of the vaccine with our young people

My daughter is 16 and has had both shots. No side effects other than a slightly sore arm. Her friends have all had theirs as well. She's really looking forward to attending school full time in the fall. My understanding is that they are hoping to have a vaccine available by late fall/early winter for the younger age groups too. I don't agree as I believe it is their choice to look at what they believe it right or wrong. They shouldn't be forced to take an unpredictable vaccine if they believe it is unsafe. Reply

Parents and grandparents must find this terrifying. I feel really bad for them, don't know what I'd do. Reply

YES they should be, I know it was quick, but I garuntee they wouldn't be shoving things into the arms of our children without knowing what's in it and testing it throroughly. Not to mention, you know what's worse than the threat that possible, maybe something might happen? Covid. Getting covid. Or dying of it...as a child...when it's completely preventable. Reply

Yes there is a campaign to get them vaccinated before school starts, but they are still falling short of the 75% target which surprises me as I thought parents would want to protect the kids. Reply
