The Show Must Go On?

Country Superstar Tim McGraw 's Nevada show came to an abrupt halt after some hecklers starting boo-ing him when he seemingly forgot the lyrics to a song.

At first he stared them down but then jumped off stage and got in the couples face. He asked why they were mocking him, and then told them, if ya don't like it, just leave.

Other concert goers were angry that he stopped the show.

Did he do the right thing or should the show just go on?

I think he made an arrogant poor choice. Yes, it can happen that you forget the lyrics but I would have been cranky too. People pay good money to attend a concert and they expect the artist to be well prepared. If the couple of hecklers bothered him that much, I'm sure his own security could have taken care of it. It's not like there was a big brawl going on or anything. It was a couple of boo-ers. He shouldn't have stopped the show!

Apparently his ego couldn't take the rejection?

He should not have walked out on his show and the fans who paid a lot of money to come to his concert, he should have just ignored the hecklers. There are always heckler in events especially when they have been drinking. Reply

Freddie Mercury, when some wanker yelled out "You're a poofter",, stopped the whole show, put spotlights on the heckler, and said "Say that again, darling." Rob Halford uses cue cards onstage. Reply

I agree with you. I use to listen to country and like his music. He’s a professional and shouldn’t have walked out like that Reply
