Do lice need 2 to procreate? or do they reproduce asexually??

Sexual reproduction. They lay eggs. Every adult female head louse has two ovaries, each with 5 ovarioles. The louse reproduction system also stores spermatozoa in the spermatheca.

I believe that they are asexual and therefore reproduce on their own I do not believe that they lay eggs however, I have been known to be wrong

The old saying goes, it takes two. Whether it be human, animal or insect, the general rule is you need a female and a male to procreate.
